THE OPENING OF THE SEVENTH SEAL
VII
Ezekiel, the Son of Man

            And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire. Also out of the midst thereof came the likeness of four living creatures....
            As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle....
            As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, and like the appearance of lamps: it went up and down among the living creatures; and the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning. And the living creatures ran and returned as the appearance of a flash of lightning....
            Whithersoever the spirit was to go, they went, thither was their spirit to go; and the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels....
            And the likeness of the firmament upon the heads of the living creature was as the colour of the terrible crystal, stretched forth over their heads above....
            And when they went, I heard the noise of their wings, like the noise of great waters, as the voice of the Almighty, the voice of speech, as the noise of an host: when they stood, they let down their wings....
            And above the firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the likeness of the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it.
            And I saw as the colour of amber, as the appearance of fire round about within it, from the appearance of his loins even upward, and from the appearance of his loins even downward, I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and it had brightness round about.
            As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spake.

Ezekiel 1

To the Living Souls Who Would Become the Quickening Spirits:

Let the souls of the initiates of the Ruby Ray draw nigh; for I, the Lord, the Ancient of Days, would speak with thee concerning thy mission to the multitudes. I AM Sanat Kumara. I AM the Lord. And the hand of the Lord is upon the prophets and the saints.

In my appearance to Ezekiel in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar, I unveiled the mystery of Being as the “great cloud” of the Shekinah. In an apocalyptic visitation, I uncovered the dwelling of God in the sacred fire infolding itself. And behold, he saw the visible Presence of the I AM THAT I AM. He saw his glory, my glory, in the brightness of the Cloud–the same Cloud that had enveloped Sinai when the glory of the Lord was revealed to Moses, the same light that had infilled the tabernacle, the same coiled caduceus that had led the Israelites and would lead them still, the same essence of my Presence that had filled Solomon’s temple and would now become the foundation foursquare of the New Jerusalem.

Yes, Ezekiel, the Son of man, would see what the Elect One Enoch had seen, what Jesus Christ would show to the beloved John, Son of the Blessed. It was the vision again of the four living creatures, the watchmen upon the four walls of the Holy City, ever with the Spirit of the Lamb. “And they went every one straight forward: whither the spirit was to go, they went; and they turned not when they went.”

Unto Ezekiel, I, the Ancient of Days, gave the commission to exhort the exiled children of the Mother to repentance that they might balance their karma of disobedience to the Son of God. For by their rejection of me in the person of the I AM THAT I AM and the holy prophets, they had been expelled from the City Foursquare, from the Guru-chela relationship, even as Adam and Eve had been expelled by Maitreya from the Lemurian mystery school.

Now among the captive Israelites in Babylon, Ezekiel beholds the opening of the heavens even as I AM the opener of the door of the third eye of the prophets and the saints unto the visions of God. There is no time and space. I, the Lord thy God, stand within thy midst, O children of the sun. I AM come for the repentance and the restoration of the true Israel in the United States of America. I AM come with the vision of the restoration of the City Foursquare, built upon the likeness of the four living creatures. And the name of the city is THE LORD IS THERE.

Ezekiel saw the countenance of the Son of man in ‘four faces’, or phases. He understood the Christ, the archetype of God, manifesting himself in the Son of man, having the face of a man, the face of a lion, the face of an ox, and the face of an eagle. He saw the road of restoration of the Davidic kingdom through the enlightenment of Christed man and woman. He saw the coming of the Messiah and his demonstration of the four paths of preparation as the four arms of the ruby cross.

He saw the ruby cross whirling in the vortex of the whirlwind. He knew intimately the initiations of the sons and daughters of God who were called upon to become pillars in the temple of my God. I gave to him the initiations of the rose cross. He submitted himself to the cross. He gave his life for Israel. He set the example as the man of Aquarius. He did not let me down; and the wings of the four living creatures did not let him down. And the wings of the four living creatures carried the prophet whithersoever he went as the spokesman of the Word of the Lord.

As the Son of man, Ezekiel became the soul of a nation. He was and is the voice of conscience, the standard-bearer speaking to them hour by hour of what is right and what is wrong. He speaketh the “Yea, yea!” and the “Nay, nay!” of the prophet. He is the teacher of righteousness by the Path of the Ruby Ray on which I received him and he received me.

He taught the truth that “every man shall bear his own burden.” The burden of this man of Aquarius was the pot of water. This water-bearer left the example for sons and daughters of God moving in the stream of the God consciousness of love to bear in this hour the crystal clear stream of the water of life of the Mother. His water is the water of the resurrection. His resurrection is the resurrection of the Son of God, the inner Logos of the outer Son of man.

Ezekiel resurrects the Mother in Israel, for he saw the Mother lights going up and down among the living creatures. She the bright fire, she the lightning out of the fire. And the rings of the living creatures full of eyes and their wheels in Spirit and in Matter, “as it were a wheel in the middle of a wheel,” I revealed to Ezekiel as the sacred centers of consciousness in the I AM Presence and in the Son of God. And Ezekiel, the Son of man, was God-taught by me to bear the burden of Mother light throughout the one hundred forty-four chakras of being and in the seven planes of heaven and earth within his temple, focused in the seven chakras.

Now as you enter the Path of the Rose Cross because you love and you love and you love, I AM come to initiate you in the cycle of the Son of man. For you, O living soul, are predestined to become the quickening spirit. You have heard it said, “The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit” and that “the first man is of the earth, earthy” and that “the second man is the Lord from heaven” and that the children of God who have “borne the image of the earthy” shall also “bear the image of the heavenly.” I AM come to teach you how to fulfill this commandment of the Lord, for this is the purpose of the Ruby Ray. It is the blood of Christ by which you are redeemed.

The “natural man,” so-called, who comes wearing the “natural body” fashioned of the earth, earthy, is the “living potential,” the soul sent into worlds of time and space in order that he might choose to be the “spiritual man” with the “spiritual body.” As it was given to Jesus Christ to demonstrate to you step by step the alchemy of the Path of the Rose Cross, so I come to you, men and women of the twentieth century, to give to you the law and the grace whereby you, too, may know the True Self as “the Lord from heaven.”

As you have borne the image of the earthy when you were children “under the law” of personal and planetary karma “in bondage under the elements of the world,” so now in the fullness of the time that is come, you shall bear the image of the heavenly through “the Spirit of his Son” whom God sent “into your hearts, crying,” as Paul witnessed of the indwelling Christ, “Abba, Father.” This Son, “made of a woman, made under the law” of regenerate Life, is come to redeem one and all who have been under the law of sin, disease, and death. Now let us come together, my children, that you might understand the meaning of the initiation of “the adoption of sons.”

If “flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God,” and they cannot, even as “corruption doth not inherit incorruption,” how, then, can the natural man become the spiritual man? How can you, the living soul, become you, the quickening spirit? It is the mystery of the Holy Grail. It is the mystery of the Incarnation.

The Path of the Ruby Ray is the path of understanding the Principle of the Law and the Person of the Lawgiver. It is a path of initiation based upon the covenant of the Father and the Son made in the beginning with the souls who descended out of the spheres of the Great Causal Body into the planes of time and space to exercise the gift of free will.

The Path of the Ruby Ray is the path of freedom: God’s freedom to give himself unto a living soul. Soul freedom to become the possessor of God under the covenants of the Law and the Lawgiver. The inheritance of God consciousness is a transmission by right under the Law from parent to offspring. Not flesh and blood but a living soul fused by free will to the quickening spirit can inherit the kingdom (consciousness) of God. The soul whose self-awareness has become the quickening spirit is the only one who can rightfully claim possession of God. It is the fusion of this soul and this Spirit that enables the Son of man to gain the full inheritance of the Son of God. Because, in effect, he has become God.

As long as the heir apparent to the throne of grace, to the trinity of Love, remains a child as Paul taught, he “differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all.” It is this childhood in which I find the lost tribes of Israel–lost because they have lost the memory of the Ancient of Days and of the name of the Lord, I AM THAT I AM, and of their origin, the beginning and the ending in Alpha and Omega. It is from this childhood that I would lead you safely by the hand, one by one, to the Personhood of God through the door that is opened in heaven unto the sacred fire infolding itself, unto the noise of great waters, unto the voice of the Almighty, the voice of his speech that becomes the noise of the hosts of the Lord.

Therefore, this week I would have you meditate upon the Lord from heaven and his appearance of fire, the color of the terrible crystal and the color of amber and of burnished brass. Yes, meditate upon the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance like burning coals of fire, and a firmament above their heads having the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone. Yes, meditate upon the rings, the wheels, and the wings of the living creatures and the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord who is I AM THAT I AM centered in the rainbow rays of the brightness of the spiritual body.

I AM the Lord from heaven. I have sent for thee, my beloved, that thou mayest come through the open door of thy God consciousness and realize thyself as the second man and as the appearance of a man upon the likeness of the throne.
