The Multifaceted Gem of Mercy

Be Merciful unto God and He Will Be Merciful unto You

I AM Kuan Yin in the fullness of the flame-flower of mercy’s light. I am with you in this hour and I have come that you might feel the mode of my garment. It is an action scrubbing and cleansing and washing the dust from the garments of my children.

You have looked to my coming at Summit University¹ but you have not prepared your hearts sufficiently with mercy’s flame. Therefore, I demand transmutation of the hardness of heart and of fear and of selfishness and self-concern. I demand that earth be prepared for my coming.

Therefore I have called Lanello to represent me at Summit University in this coming quarter of 1981. And he, therefore, will be there as your instructor from on high to give to you the understanding that mercy is truly the excellence of God’s will performed in you as obedience to the summoning of Sanat Kumara. The sharpening of the mind, the preparation of the heart and the will to go after my children, this is the epitome of mercy. Therefore, all who come to Summit University will then receive the teachings of Mother’s manifestos and of how to deliver them and of their content and the organization of the knowledge of the things of this earth that truly are bringing to pass even the very threat of impending cataclysm.

I AM the action of the sacred fire within you! I deplore the sloth that you have allowed to accumulate. And this is the hour of mercy when it is you who must embody mercy on behalf of life, life beginning with the ascended masters and our divine plan.

You think that mercy is somehow God’s gift to you to indulge yourselves again and again in those things which ought not to be. I tell you, do not play with the sacred fire of God and consider that you are here merely to hold out your begging bowls for more and more mercies and extensions in life.

Precious ones, when I come and when I deliver the light, the fullness of the light of the Lords of Karma and of those who stand behind them, I am determined that the work of those who have gone before me from this board will manifest the fullness and the fruition that is intended.

Therefore Lanello will come even to reinforce your understanding of your own chelaship in service within this community. And the requirements to be in our university of the Spirit will also now accelerate, and you will find that it will be increasingly difficult to enter the halls of learning and to partake of our cup.

For every action that is given, we demand the recompense. And we demand that those who come realize that all of the teaching that is given is given that it might be implemented and not wondered at and looked upon and considered and then cast aside to fade in the folds of memory as other forms of entertainment enter the life of the soul.

We, therefore, as the Lords of Karma, are not altogether satisfied with that which has been accomplished by those who have stood in our midst to take our teaching and gone forth. Therefore the quality of mercy is withheld until a greater measure can be shown as the fruit of striving. Let all, then, who recognize the need to accelerate in service and to be a part of our holy bands, understand that this winter quarter of Summit University is a condition of mercy itself as extended opportunity from Portia to prepare for that hour of initiation when all must be in readiness within you.

Moses, then, received his initiations.² And when he was not ready, even so, the sacred fire would descend and it also would be upon him as the burden of the LORD until he would come into alignment with the requirements of the Law. So even you who are chosen must understand that you, too, must fulfill the promise and the sacred oath that is taken before our board³ before incarnation.

Realize, then, the meaning of our retreat and our office. And let souls of light worthy of the name have a realistic appraisal of what is expected and what will not be tolerated as you mount the mount of attainment.

I have come with great joy to sponsor Lanello. For I trust that between his flame and Mother’s,⁴ you will hear and know all that you need to be found with me when I am called by God to be with you again at Summit University. For come again I must, as of old. And come again you must, that we fulfill our trust and the promise made that one day we would strive again with the Great Divine Director and I would be there to assist you in your final striving for the final victory.

Chelas of the sacred fire, study mercy through the heart of Portia and Saint Germain. Know its quality that is not strained by human rebellion, recalcitrance or procrastination of that which must come first.

I AM your teacher out of the East. I am aware of millions who will not drink of the cup of mercy that I bear because they will not set aside their human cares and the cares of this world. I trust that none of you will ever be counted among these masses who do not count themselves worthy to stand in the Presence of God.

I set my flame-flower as a giant cup of light surrounding, enfolding and upholding the entire sanctuary of the Holy Grail.⁵ May your entering in to mercy’s flame-flower each day transfer to you the true mercy.

Mercy’s heart extends itself to you. It is the mercy of your consideration of mercy unto all life, beginning with Almighty God. Oh, be merciful unto him! And do not require that he should be burdened with your human creation any longer; and he will be merciful unto you and not require that you should bear that burden any longer but rather receive the burden of the LORD’s light.

So in giving and receiving mercy, discover your divine plan and ask not again of the Mother, “How can I find my divine plan?”⁶ Oh, give mercy and give it abundantly! For the LORD hath need of thee and thy mercy flame this hour. Through it alone will come knowledge of the inner blueprint of life.

I am to thee a mentor of the Spirit, always ready to impart the next teaching in the multifaceted gem of mercy.

Divine Direction for the Path of Your Choosing

Excerpt from Pearls of Wisdom, vol. 18, no. 32, August 10, 1975 by Saint Germain

...Divine direction is the need of the hour; and therefore I have introduced to you the Great Divine Director as the guru of gurus. Commissioned by the All Father, he stands at the gate of the cycles of the years to define and refine for initiates of the Great White Brotherhood the way and the calling of the flame of the Holy Spirit. His name is the title of an office in the cosmic hierarchy given to the one who, by virtue of diligent application over the aeons, presently focuses within his causal body the formula of the ascension for the children of God and the sons and daughters of the Most High evolving in this cosmos.

Day by day the cosmic computer of the mind of God adjusts the formula of the path according to the individual patterns of living, being, acting on the stage of life. For every action there is a corresponding reaction in the cosmos—an adjustment for the increase or decrease of light in manifestation which is the result of the individual application of free will. According to the choices you make daily, your divine plan is adjusted and, in the blueprint of your soul’s evolution, adjustments are made for the balance of cycles.

Thus the equation of living on Terra can be stated: The law plus you plus karma and dharma equals the divine plan manifest as circumstance in time and space. This equation is balanced by the handmaid of Freedom whose name is Opportunity. Daily choices to accelerate the divine plan, to make the most of life, to do one’s best and better than one’s best, must be made if an identity is to be preserved.

Souls cry out: “We know not the way to go! We know not how to make the choices, though choices we would make.” This year mankind face the collective karma of their failure to make right choices in all past ages. Thus the momentum of indecision reinforced by wrong decision pronounced by the pharaohs of the world stains the waters of Mother flow even as the waters of Egypt were turned to blood by the edict of the LORD.

There is a plan for you. For every child of the light, for every chela of the law, there is a divine way. But there is always the human alternative. I come with the mantra of divine direction written by my teacher and dictated to the messenger Mark L. Prophet. I bid you make the choice of entering into a novena to your own I AM Presence, to your own Real Self, to the Christed one, and to the guru who can assist you immeasurably to define the path of your own Self-realization. I initiate you in the cycle of the thirty-three—a formula for alchemy—as an exercise in proving the path of your choosing.

Begin by placing yourself at a desk, clean and cleared, where you will not be disturbed. Take a blank sheet of white paper, and with pen in hand commune with the innermost light of your being. You can meditate upon your divine plan by visualizing a white sphere before you. Approximately two feet in diameter, this sphere is the symbol of your own cosmic consciousness which you contact in meditation.

Now address the Lords of Life, saying:

“In the name of my own Real Self, the I AM THAT I AM, and the Christed one of my being, I call forth from the reservoir of my cosmic consciousness the divine plan of my life, the blueprint of being. I call to the Lords of Life, to the Great Divine Director, and to Saint Germain to assist me now in the implementation of the law of cosmos as it applies to my individual identity, to my karma and my dharma, and to the circumstances of my life in time and space.”

Light a candle and consecrate it to the spark of divinity which is your very own opportunity to fulfill your cosmic destiny. Let the flame be the focus of the threefold flame of love, wisdom, and power that burns on the altar of your heart. Let it be a focus of untapped resources, of energies available, idling in the nexus of decision, waiting for your command to descend as flowing fire for the crystallization of the God flame within you.

Now take your pen and set forth in your own handwriting upon the white page before you, symbolizing the white page that God has given to you as the gift of life, the goals that you desire to accomplish while the sands of opportunity yet fall in the hourglass. Measuring moment by moment the choices that you make in time and space, write down your fondest hopes, your impossible dreams, your heart’s longings, your desire for soul fulfillment, your educational goals, your spiritual and material expectations, the service you desire to render unto God and man, the mark of mastery and the record of victory that you have determined to leave behind for those who will follow you on the path of initiation.

You may write and rewrite this outline of your life, examining it for purity of motive, for its practicality, its probability, your own ability, your own willingness to summon from the God flame within the energies of commitment, co-measurement, and constancy. When you have set forth to your own satisfaction a realistic as well as an idealistic set of goals, make two copies. Place one between the pages of your Bible and consign the other to the flame of the Holy Spirit—that is, put it in the physical fire in the ritual of the ancient alchemist, that it might be secured in the etheric level of your consciousness and conveyed to the Great Divine Director and the Lords of Karma for the necessary ratification of the law of cosmos.

With your left hand on the Bible, take in your right hand the mantra for divine direction included with this Pearl and give it fourteen times. Repeat this exercise for thirty-three days. Each day at the conclusion of your meditation and mantra, take your pen and write upon another white page the thoughts of your mind, the feelings of your heart which come to you as a means to augment and to implement the goals you have set forth and to bring them into alignment with the goal of life for your lifestream held in the causal body of the Great Divine Director.

Do not strain to hear the word of God when the answer to your call is the bliss of the Great Silence. Do not fret when the clarity of divine direction does not manifest to your outer consciousness. For as sure as I live—and I AM Saint Germain—the alchemy of divine direction is at work within you like the leaven which the “woman took and hid in three measures of meal till the whole was leavened.”

Even so, the alchemy begins at the fiery core of being in the center of your heart flame; and it works hour by hour, day by day, from the within to the without. As you give the mantra and the meditation, you are planting seeds of your own cosmic consciousness at conscious and subconscious levels of being. These seeds will germinate and push through to the surface by the light of your own I AM Presence and by the watering of the living word of your own Christ Self.

While you are waiting with anticipation for the manifestation of sacred alchemy within your being, pursue the purification of the vehicles of consciousness provided for your soul’s evolution. These vehicles are the four lower bodies—the etheric, the mental, the emotional, and the physical.

Let the mantra of the violet fire known by Keepers of the Flame sing within your heart and mind all the day: “I AM a being of violet fire, I AM the purity God desires! I AM a being of violet fire, I AM the purity God desires! I AM a being of violet fire, I AM the purity God desires!” For the violet flame removes the stain of personal and planetary karma from the rivers of energy coursing through your four lower bodies. Purity, purity, purity! Only thus can clarity of divine direction appear....

“The Summit Lighthouse Sheds Its Radiance o’er All the World to Manifest as Pearls of Wisdom.”

This dictation by Kuan Yin was delivered by the Messenger of the Great White Brotherhood Elizabeth Clare Prophet on Sunday, October 12, 1980, during the five-day conference, Love Is the Key, held at Camelot, Los Angeles County, California.

1. Summit University is a modern-day mystery school founded in 1971 under the direction of the messengers Mark L. Prophet and Elizabeth Clare Prophet. Summit University currently holds summer retreats at the Royal Teton Ranch in Montana and seminars throughout the year in locations around the world as well as online study events. 2. The messenger, on March 28, 1993, gave the following teaching on Num. 20:1-12: “When the congregation arrives at the desert of Zin, the people again rise up against Moses and Aaron because there is no water. This becomes Moses’ nemesis. The LORD gives Moses specific instructions. Moses is to call the community together and, in full view, speak to the rock and it will bring forth water. Moses and Aaron gather the people but they do not do exactly what God commanded. Have you ever reasoned in your heart when you hear the voice of God speaking to you, ‘Well, God, that’s a good idea but it’s not quite the way I would do it, so I’ll take your suggestion but I’m going to do it with this adding on and this detracting from’? We reason with God somehow because we don’t stop to think that God really is speaking to us—that it’s not just our minds that are speaking to us, but the still small voice of God is present in everyone speaking to us. We just have to listen. So Moses or Aaron— it’s not quite clear which one says it but Moses takes the blame: ‘Hear now, ye rebels, must we fetch you water out of this rock?’ Moses is angry with the people and he doesn’t still himself before he goes to do what God told him to do. So then, instead of speaking to the rock, Moses lifts up his hand. And with his rod he smites the rock twice, and the water comes out abundantly. The LORD severely punishes Aaron and Moses. He says, ‘Because you did not believe that I could proclaim my holiness in the eyes of the sons of Israel, you shall not lead this assembly into the land I am giving them.’ Once again we are reminded not to make of Moses a god, not to make of ourselves a god when we think we have somehow arrived on the path of initiation. It shows that Moses is a man of passions like all of us, and he is also the LORD’s anointed. He must deal with his karma of disobedience, even though he is the prophet of God. This is a teaching we must never forget—how easy it is to be the idol of oneself and of one’s own humanness or one’s own ego.”

3. Kuan Yin is a member of the Karmic Board, a spiritual board of eight ascended beings who dispense justice to this system of worlds. The Lords of Karma adjudicate karma, mercy and judgment on behalf of every individual. All souls must pass before the Karmic Board before and after each incarnation on earth to receive their assignment and karmic allotment for each lifetime beforehand and the review of their performance at its conclusion. 4. The ascended master Lanello was embodied as the messenger Mark L. Prophet. His twin flame is the messenger Elizabeth Clare Prophet, who is addressed as “Mother” by students of the ascended masters. A devotee of the Divine Mother, she received the mantle of the office of Mother of the Flame on April 9, 1966, from Clara Louise Kieninger, now ascended lady master and Regent Mother Clara Louise. (The ascended master Saint Germain anointed Clara Louise as the first Mother of the Flame in 1961.) Additionally, the crown of the World Mother was placed upon the messenger by the Goddess of Liberty in Mexico City on January 1, 1974.

5. The Chapel of the Holy Grail was located at Camelot in the Santa Monica Mountains near Malibu, California. Camelot was headquarters of The Summit Lighthouse and Church Universal and Triumphant from 1978 to 1986.

6. Each person has a unique divine plan for the soul’s individualization of the God flame ordained in the beginning when the blueprint of life was impressed upon the white-fire core of the individual I AM Presence. Each individual soul is destined to realize the fullness of his preordained (but not predestined) potential; yet, having the gift of free will, the soul may accept or reject the divine plan. What that potential is and how it is to be self-realized in this life is known of God and can be released to the outer consciousness through application to the individual Christ Self, the I AM Presence and the Great Divine Director.
