A Mantle of Light for South America
Part 2
I AM here this morning to instruct you that the hours are becoming shorter and that the time of the fullness of perfection for all the lifestreams upon this planet is shortened.
The negative forces have sought to destroy the great cosmic possibility which we had begun in South America. And every ascended master is concerned and determined this morning to flood into South America a tremendous force of protection. Therefore, I have come this morning together with beloved El Morya, beloved Jesus, beloved Mother Mary, beloved Kuan Yin and the entire Karmic Board. And we are charging mighty light rays into the heart of South America, specifically for the protection of that infant civilization which shall be cradled there for the reception of the incoming seventh root race.1
Precious ones of the light, the God and Goddess Meru are on the receiving end of the tremendous radiance we are flooding forth, and they are anchoring within the forcefield of their retreat at Lake Titicaca the light rays that we are blazing to the continent of South America. There is being created a vast forcefield that will expand through the Amazon River and all of the rivers of South America and gradually spread out until there will not be one foot of land or water composing the entire continent of South America that shall not be covered with a mantle of diamond-shining light from these light rays.
The function and specific charge of these light rays is to engender faith in Almighty God and the power of divinity to triumph in the hearts of the people of South America, to renew their faith in Almighty God and to cause their faith in materialism to wane.
At the present time, the reason why some of them have been receptive to the communist doctrines is because of the materialist concepts which have crept even into the church circles within South America. There has been a great corruption, much to the lamentation of the heart of beloved Mother Mary, who has often stood as patroness for the entire continent of South America.
Today, in preparation for great things which are to come and mighty deeds which are to be done in God’s name, the ascended masters are charging forth their protection. I make this fiat audibly that you may be aware of it and may cooperate with the Great White Brotherhood in establishing protection around South America.
The hordes which have camped upon Cuba must be expelled.2 And it is the responsibility of mankind to recognize the need to call for the expulsion of all those who would harm America—either North America or South America.
To this end, I establish here today, in the name of God, in this capital of the United States, a focus of the divine intent, which is to keep North and South America pure for the democratic principles of freedom, that they may remain securely enfolded in the hearts of the people. Thus shall they continue to rejoice in this age and in future ages in the principles of freedom for which beloved Saint Germain gave his life and fortune time after time upon this planet.3 (There is locked within the hearts of everyone who has loved freedom and breathes the air of it some concept of what it means to sacrifice for a divine principle and to be reviled and to be unappreciated by men.)
Ladies and gentlemen, I hope that within the grail of your hearts you will establish a place to receive the Christ and recognize this Christ as not merely a religious image, but a vital, breathing, infused essence of God intended to magnify his name and perform his works. Those works include the freeing of the nations and the exaltation of the people into the fullness of the divine intent, that they may wear those robes of righteousness, beauty, loveliness and victory, which shall prove to all upon this earth that God who is in heaven is also manifest upon earth.
O God, may thy kingdom come, may thy will be done, here below as it is done Above.4 And may all people who hear my voice or sense this radiation enter into that communion of the sacred fire which will make them participants in the role of God in action.
Thank you, ladies and gentlemen. I return now on mighty currents of light into those octaves from whence I came. May you be eternally blest and swathed in those garments of immortality which shall prove an unguent to your weary forms— forms wearied with the outer consciousness and wearied with their roles of discord.
Enter now, then, into your Christ peace and abide in the fullness of all it can mean to you if you but open to the knock of the Christ who stands at the door.

This dictation by Great Divine Director was delivered by the Messenger of the Great White Brotherhood Mark L. Prophet on Sunday, September 9, 1962, during the Sunday service held in Washington, D.C. Delivered in the early years of The Summit Lighthouse, this dictation was originally published in the booklet Spoken from on High and presents fundamental and timeless teaching of the ascended masters. 1. A root race is a group of souls, or a lifewave, who embody together and have a unique archetypal pattern, divine plan and mission to fulfill on earth. According to esoteric tradition, there are seven root races. The first three root races lived in purity and innocence upon earth in three golden ages before the Fall of Adam and Eve. Through obedience to cosmic law and total identification with the Real Self, these three root races won their immortal freedom and ascended from earth. It was during the time of the fourth root race, on the continent of Lemuria, that the allegorical Fall took place under the influence of the fallen angels. The fourth, fifth and sixth root races (the latter soul group not having entirely descended into physical incarnation) remain in embodiment today. The seventh root race is destined to incarnate on the continent of South America in the Aquarian age. Each root race is sponsored by a Manu and his consort, who represent the Father-Mother God to their respective root races. The Great Divine Director with his divine complement is the Manu of the seventh root race. The God and Goddess Meru are the Manus for the sixth root race. Vaivasvata Manu with his twin flame is the Manu of the fifth root race, and Lord Himalaya with his divine complement is the Manu for the fourth. See The Path of Brotherhood, by Mark L. 2. At the time of this dictation, the Soviet Union was secretly installing medium-range nuclear weapons in Cuba, capable of striking major U.S. cities within minutes. After the construction of the missile bases was confirmed by U.S. reconnaissance flights, President John F. Kennedy, on October 22, 1962, demanded the withdrawal of the missiles and imposed a naval blockade on Cuba. On October 28, the Soviets agreed to dismantle the missile sites and remove the missiles from Cuba. This confrontation between the U.S. and the Soviet Union is known as the Cuban Missile Crisis.
