Draw Forth Abundant Life Right Where You Are
The Abundant Sense Is the Open Sesame
Part 1
I AM Fortuna and I bring with me the wand of abundant life. The wand of abundant life scintillates. The radiation of this great staff which I carry, like ancient fables of magic, is the means whereby each individual can come to realize that he is a focus of abundance.
Did not the Master say long ago, “I am come that ye might have life and that more abundantly”?1 Well, beloved hearts, understand, then, that the desire of God is to bring forth the power to draw abundant life forth right where you are. Each focus of the Godhead, each individual, whether imprisoned in consciousness or not, has within himself the glorious potential of immortal life. He need not be in a state of worldly desire, for the desires of God are possible unto him.
These laws, taught by our ancient Brotherhood, enabled the masters throughout time immemorial to say these words, “All power in heaven and earth is given unto me.”2 Will you understand tonight the meaning of that phrase? Will you understand tonight the indomitable power within the concentrated mind that understands the will of the Godhead for each individual?
Whensoever your desire, beloved ones, is an illicit desire, one that harms other parts of life, by the great act of cosmic mercy life often withdraws and your energy is lessened. And you notice an abatement of your energy simply because the desire itself, if it were to be granted, would create unhappiness, pain, shame and disgrace upon the very powers of life itself. Yet individuals force their will through and thus create a ring of negative karma, which returns to them, ultimately, for redemption.
But we are concerned tonight with the dissemination of that cosmic knowledge whereby individuals will understand the power of God that frees them, so that they are able to take, for all time immemorial, their own God-freedom and to understand that they are the authority for their world, that they can, if they will, demand from their own mighty I AM Presence the fullness of that law which bringeth forth abundance in consciousness.
You have from the Latin language the word fortunate, and how fortunate are those who understand the meaning of the word. The appellation Fortuna, given unto me, was actually given that I might become a focus of the abundant life at inner levels, retaining for all humanity who will accept it the power of their own God-investment in cosmic energy.
When men, then, call unto me and I answer, it is truly God who answers through me. For we are all servants of him in the ascended realm as well as below. And the quicker men will understand this great law of cosmic adventure, the quicker the whole vanguard of humanity will move forward into the abundant sense of the abundant life.
Qualify your life, then, with abundance, but understand the need to draw forth kindness, love and understanding. Shatter those concepts that inflict wounds and injury upon other parts of life, or even upon yourselves, by a masochistic tendency. And recognize how man can, if he will, enter in to a state of true crystal-clear mind, where the mind of Christ that draweth forth this abundant sense is aware of its unity with the Father.
And out of this awareness is born joy. For the joy in creating freedom and abundance is the joy of fulfillment whereby cosmic energy—flooding forth through interstellar space and between the spaces of the electrons within your physical form or within your expansive consciousness—truly is able to draw forth awareness of God and the high ideals which he has implanted in man through the ritual drama of mankind’s understanding of the Christ consciousness.
The True Authority
for Manifesting the Abundant Life
Won’t you understand, then, that just as there exist today a universal Christ and a spirit of Antichrist, so there also exist many in the world today who are actually fraudulently representing the Law. For example, I speak to you today of my own fraudulent representative, not my own in the sense that I claim her but my own in the sense that she claims to be me.
I refer to that individual known as Lady Luck. In the gambling casinos of Monte Carlo and Las Vegas and other parts of the world, this individual is superstitiously regarded as an existent being. I assure you that this counterfeit of my own God-given originality is truly one who will lure men, as the Sirens of old,3 to the rocks of gambling and dissipation, fulfilling nothing in reality but only more bondage and karma.
Those who recognize that the abundance of God is no gamble for humanity but the outpicturing of the perfection of cosmic law will understand, then, once and for all, that I am the authority for that high adventure which humanity may claim—that high adventure of mankind manifesting the abundant life, a life that never lacks. For individuals are able to draw forth and magnetize to themselves that sweet mystery of cosmic abundance that is locked within the heart of God and reserved as the treasures of heaven for every man, woman and child upon the planetary body.
Seek First the Kingdom of Heaven
I call to your attention, then, this night, a word of scripture, O ye men and women of this world who deplore the situations of the world. You deplore the situations of violence whereby thieves seek to steal by night. You deplore the situations of violence whereby nations rise against nations and kingdoms against kingdoms. Then will you understand with me this one word, that the love of money is the root of all evil.4 As this scripture is called to your attention this eve, understand that all in the world that is darkness, all that is violent, wars between nations and peoples, and all darkness that works wickedness in the streets of life is the result of man’s greed and selfishness and failure to understand the abundant life.
Would you change the world, then, this night? Do it by cosmic law and the expansion of the teaching of the abundant life. For man can, if he will, claim what he will and manifest it, simply because it is a divine action, if he will only understand the need to seek first the kingdom of heaven and God’s righteousness and then all these things shall be added unto him. Men seek wrongly instead of rightly. And by their wrong seeking, the human ego holds sway over men, exalting them above one another and creating more and more return of the cyclic law.
The wonders of the coming age that your hearts yearn for, O children of men, the wonders of the coming kingdom of heaven that you long to see manifest upon this planet, can and will come about—a golden age of transmutative wonder, when the abundance of God is the divine sense in every man, when every man is able to enshrine and enthrone the divine sense of his own abundance, when he can forsake the sense even that his karma is bringing back to his doorstep some strange lack which he feels that he deserves. For this in itself, beloved hearts, kills the divine sense of abundance. This shuts off and dams up the flow so that man cannot receive it.
Leave All Matters to the Cosmic Law
In order to participate in the ritual of cosmic abundance, then, let the forte of God’s love flow through you. Do not select any individual upon the planet as the victim of your evil intent. Let all be recipients [of the return] of cosmic law. But take note, and this is the great error of human beings, who are constantly being drawn into a sympathetic state where— by sorrow and pity for other individuals (who are actually receiving what they have sent out to other individuals)—by their sympathy, they are drawn into the orbit of sympathy and cut off from their own supply. Do you understand this?
Beloved hearts of light, leave all matters to the cosmic law. And when you let the sense of abundant living flow through your being, let it be a divine sense as though God himself were releasing it through you to all humanity. Do not qualify it by a stoppage toward any individual. Life will do that—if you will leave it to God, if you will leave it to those higher minds, such as the Karmic Board. Then understand, beloved hearts of light, all will be qualified according to cosmic expectations.
But when individuals, in a sense of error, enter into a consciousness of misqualifying life that is in no way a part of themselves directly, they find that that evil which that individual, that life, was intended to have returned to him may return to them, because by their standing in the way, all manner of undesirable happenings may occur.
You Need the Mind of the Little Child
I tell you this tonight out of great love for you. For there are some amongst you who have called and called and called unto heaven, and somehow or other you have wondered why the answer was not forthcoming. Well, beloved hearts of light, the answer was always forthcoming. The answer was forthcoming because the call compels the answer. But you see, it never was able to come forth into your world because you yourself did not understand all of the interaction of cosmic law.
Well, beloved hearts of light, the mind of a little child is really the mind that you need. For by the sophistication of man’s own ideas, he often thwarts and aborts all of the intent of the living God for him. If, like a little child, he will reach his hands up to the sun of God, holding his hands out to the light, and say: “O Eternal Father, give me the abundant sense. Open my mind and consciousness, my heart and being to all that is the joy of God, the joy of heaven’s intent, the immortal mind and the light that cannot fail”—
Then God will remove
the blindness from his eyes.
And the gentle golden radiance
from the skies
Will pour forth majestically,
crowning all with light,
Sundering all that is dark
and making all things bright.
A ray of hope in him will born,
The joy of God will flood
The whole wide world that very morn
With radiance like a dove,
New hope and joy and peace to all.
The kingdom of the living God
Will come into the mind of man
by cosmic rod he brought.
The Authority Is Within You
The golden-rule law, the law of abundance, is within you. The joy, the beauty and perfection of the Spirit, the cornucopia of the cosmic sense is within you. By your own acts, O mankind, you have closed the door. But by your own acts, you can open it once again.
Heaven stands with you. We stand with you tonight and every day, waiting the knock that you will make upon the authority of life—the authority of your own God Presence, the authority of the very energy of God that beats your heart, the authority that Saint Germain has so often given to you, the authority of the living Christ that Jesus two thousand years ago did direct into the consciousness of his disciples and apostles.
Won’t you receive today this secure sense, this secure sense of knowing that by the very act of offering yourselves unto him—of gently lifting the fullness of your garments into the light and saying, “O Father, wash me with the effulgence of thy light, thy white light, thy golden light, all of the flames of God”—then the scintillating magic wand I bring will become a tangible reality to you. And you will discover, blessed ones, that you have the selfsame authority which I do. For that authority is locked within the heart of your own mighty I AM Presence.
That authority is within you. It was planted there and blessed by the Holy Spirit from the foundation of your own world. And it will successfully fend off all negatives, all darkness and all unfortunate states of being if you will only pin your faith upon that solid transmutative energy of your own Divine Presence and recognize that a shower of infinite, cosmic golden substance from the heart of God, on wings of harmony and song, may find its way—first of all into the domain of your own consciousness and being, and then ultimately out into the great larger arena of the world, where it will implant the indomitable attitude of Cosmic Christ victory into the minds of men.
And thus, the world—no longer in lack, no longer in greed, recognizing that it is tethered to the divine steed of the Holy Spirit—will rise. And the civilizations of the world will no longer clamor for all of the good that each one holds in the treasuries of their own national boundaries. But all things will become a common availability to man, the ability of man to reach forth into that glorious sense of abundance of the Holy Spirit!
