Yes, You Are a Star

In the light of the Divine Mother, I AM come to you, children of the light, angels of the dawn. And I address you as a mother of light. Some of you are mothers of faith, for you have ensouled faith. Some of you are mothers of hope, for you have ensouled hope. And some of you are mothers of charity, for you have ensouled Charity’s gracious name and flame.

I, then, have chosen to be the Mother of Light, for in this calling I can be the mother of every atom and electron of the Christ consciousness emergent within the sons and daughters of God. I can be everywhere, for light is everywhere. And wherever there is light, I AM there, the Mother flame, guiding, guarding and protecting the evolution of the cosmic spiral of each facet of the crystalline design.

Long ago, wearing yet mortal form, as I gazed with wonder upon the stars in the heavens, I was meditating upon the light—the light of God, the light of his purpose within me. And as I looked up from the hillside, I saw the stars begin to turn and to whirl and to draw close to my consciousness. And I was transported from the outer senses to the inner senses, so that for a moment I traversed time and space into infinity. And I saw the stars descend and enter my heart, and I said, “Lo, I AM a star! I AM a flame with starry light.” And God said, “Yes, you are a star. You are a star in heaven and on earth. But you are more than a star. You are the mother of the star, for the star has come to rest in the cradle of the light of your own heart.”

It was then that I knew, precious ones, that I should be the Mother of Light. It was then that I knew my divine purpose and my cosmic calling. And I dedicated my soul and my total effort to mothering light in all whom I met.

The Healing of One
Can Become the Healing of the Multitudes

I went forth from that hillside, and I came down to contact friends and companions. And do you know, the memory of the experience that God gave to me upon that hill enabled me, each time I communed with a part of life, to re-create the meditation of transcending time and space. And as I gazed with love upon the heart flame of those who would come to me, I had the same experience. The fire in each heart began to whirl, and then that fire approached my own heart. And I felt the embrace of love, of light, leap from that heart to my own and the arc return from my own to that heart. And once again I said, “I AM a star!” And I remembered the voice of God, “Yes, you are a star, but you are more than that. You are the mother of the star, the Mother of Light.”

I found, then, that as I communed with the light within every heart, I often did not perceive with an intense eye, the critical or analytical eye that so many among mortals have today—examining the face and the hair and the garments and the size and the weight of those whom they meet. For I was so entranced with the whirling light and the star in the heart, however big, however small—the whirling fire that came to me as Mother. It was a joyous discipleship. And my initiations came as trials and testings, as an opportunity to expand the light, to nourish it, to harbor it, to challenge it.

I found, then, that the multitudes began to draw to the light that I had lifted up. As Jesus said, “And I, if I be lifted up, will draw all men unto me.”¹ As I lifted up the light within myself and within the hearts of men, I found that more and more people would throng my abode, and life became quickened. And there was much to do and much to assist and much to develop in the consciousness of mankind. And at one point I found that I had to retreat from the world and to go into solitary meditation upon the collective heart flames of all mankind.

It was then that I learned that the healing of one can become the healing of the multitudes, as the multiplication of the loaves and fishes of mankind’s consciousness. I found that as I could visualize the star whirling within the heart of one, I could see millions of whirling stars coming to my heart, being fanned and infired and expanded, and then returning to the hearts of millions. And so it came to pass that there was an exchange between myself and the multitudes of the divine fires, and I came to know oneness with all life.

You Have the Potential
to Fulfill Your Glorious Destiny

The communion, the freedom, the sublime reunion with life which God gives as opportunity to you this day is the opportunity which I knew. And I thought, as I contemplated my message to you this evening, that I would like to leave you with the vision of my own victory and my own overcoming. For to be called the Queen of Light is a high calling, and yet it is within the reach and the grasp of every one of you. You can begin as I began.

Why don’t you meditate upon the stars? Why don’t you visualize them whirling toward the center of being? Are you not the center of the universe? Is not the center of the universe where God is, and is not God within you? You must become that center now if you would know that center in the future and in the past.

Do you know that the light is retroactive, that what you visualize today is projected not only upon the screen of the future but also upon the past? And thus, as you amplify within your consciousness the fiery core of starry bodies, the expansion in peripheral action will contact all Be-ness, all that you have ever been, all that you will ever be.

Flood the universe with this light. Take it step-by-step. Realize that you are not expected to be an avatar tomorrow if you are a neophyte today. Yet God holds for you the vision and the knowledge that you have the potential to fulfill your glorious destiny. For that is the kernel of light that he placed within you. And so, while holding the highest concept of your perfectionment, God walks with you each step of the way, tutoring the soul, instilling within the heart how to do and to be all that you are and all that you are to become.

The Salvation of a Civilization and an Age by the Power of the Light

After my retreat into solitude, after I learned the communion with life, I came forth once again for the final victory of the healing of the masses and the healing of the nations. And in the civilization where I was, there was at that time a great need for the unifying factor of the light. For the forces of darkness were ready to spring their plots of divide and conquer upon the masses. And there was a rumbling in the governments of the nations, and there was a stirring of discontentment in the hearts of the people, which were waxing strong in selfishness and greed and a scientific materialism and a materialistic science.

And so, God showed me that by following this meditation and determining to amplify the light within the hearts of the people, this cycle of darkness that came, even from interplanetary levels, could be thwarted, could be checked, could be stayed. And a civilization and a culture could continue to rise and to fulfill its destiny. And so, precious hearts, I accepted the responsibility and the great opportunity for the salvation of a civilization and an age by the power of the light.

I say to you, your present civilization is in a similar state, and you also have this opportunity to hold the light through visualization of the expansion of the light within the hearts of the people, as I held it for them then. And do you know, as I held it and the light began to become stronger and stronger in the hearts of the people, and their determination and their will to do the will of God also expanded, I saw that this wave of darkness that was breaking over the earth did indeed break, but it did not disturb the planetary balance. It did not disturb the people. They remained united in the light that I had visualized, that I had held dear, that I had greeted with each dawn of a new day.

I tell you this so that you might know the rule of discipleship that one with God is indeed a majority. You are a majority of light if you determine to claim that light, to be that light, and then to become the light, the mother of the light, within the hearts of all whom you meet.

Sanat Kumara and Lady Master Venus Touch the Hearts of Each One

Sanat Kumara, Ancient of Days, Sanat Kumara, Ancient of Days, come forth to light the light within the hearts, to light the star of the perfect day within the hearts of these souls.

Precious ones, I call to this beloved hierarch of Venus.

For he has promised to come here this night and to bestow upon you the fiery destiny of your God consciousness—by dispensation from the Lords of Karma and Gautama, Lord of the World—as an immediate answer to your petitions and as an act of divine grace, so that you might know that the LORD God of hosts hears every call and every cry and every plea.

Sanat Kumara has consented to return to earth once again this night to deliver unto you the fiery star perfection of Being. He comes with his legions—legions of light, legions of victory—angels, devotees and devas of the sacred fire. Stand now in honor of his presence. [Congregation stands.] And the lady Venus, Mother of the World for 1973, stands also before you upon this platform.

Each of them carries a wand of light, and at the end of the wand, the mighty star. At the appointed moment, the lady master Venus and her divine consort will touch the hearts of each one of you so that you may feel the fire of your divinity, of purpose and of the divine plan fulfilled.

The light of God that never fails will carry you through the year and all cycles to come unto the victory of your ascension in the light if you trust and if you tarry with the light and take with you each precious morsel of instruction that you receive from the ascended masters and from these blessed messengers, who have devoted their lives to the salvation of the light within you. It is not always the obvious instruction by which you learn. Sometimes it is a remark, sometimes it is a chastening. Sometimes, yes, it is an involved dissertation. But there is always opportunity to learn, to increase light, to dedicate your heart’s fire to the stars above and the stars below.

And so, the moment has come for the touching of the hearts. [8-second pause]

Elohah [chanted]²

It is done. And you are baptized in the light. As newborn babes, go forth into the year to live the life of light, of the Christ, as wayshowers for an age that is weary and heavy laden. I AM the Queen of Light, and there are many beings of light who stand with me in cosmic service to you, and to you, and to you. We go forth into the night with our stars.

Let us go, then, into the night. Let us dispel it. Let us be where mankind need the light.

Each one of you, go forth. Go into the night and carry a light. Go forth into the earth and be a child of worth. Be a tribute to Mother, a tribute to Father, a tribute to Saint Germain, a joy to El Morya and a blessing to all mankind. This is my blessing for the new year, and this is the benediction of the LORD God of hosts. Invictus!

2. Elohah is one of the Hebrew names of God, meaning “Mighty One” or “Strong One.” It is the singular form of Elohim, a uni-plural noun referring to the twin flames of the Godhead that comprise the “Divine Us.” The seven mighty Elohim and their feminine counterparts are the builders of form; hence, Elohim is the name of God used in the first verse of the Bible, “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”
