Be Joyful Expressions of the Holy Spirit
Part 2
Mankind frequently ponder the problem of good and evil. They wonder why God permits various negative circumstances, conditions, persons, places or things to manifest. Then they wonder why it is possible that these things are sustained as long as they have been.
Blessed ones, there is no mystery here, for mankind dwell in a world of form, symmetry and time. In this world, presided over by mankind, we find expressed not only the things that God does not intend but also the things which man does not intend. Do you understand? I hope you realize that I AM speaking to you concerning the manifest creation. The unmanifest creation, the beautiful spiritual world of light, cannot be anything but a world of perfection. It is the paradise of God referred to in the ancient scriptures of Genesis, signifying the Beginning, with the Tree of Life in the midst thereof. The leaves of this tree are for the healing of the nations, and the Holy Spirit is the divine energy which provides the life of the sap which flows through this Tree of Life.
It is the Holy Spirit which serves as the connecting link, as the conductor, for the living energies of heaven to blaze forth through the physical bodies of man. When you feel the currents of the Holy Spirit passing through your physical form, it is a divine charge, a divine capacitance,* entering into your physical form and consciousness. It repolarizes your being, and you temporarily feel a great buoyancy and a release from those conditions which caused you pain and distress. This is benign; it is good. It is exalting; it is uplifting.
Blessed ones, many have deplored the fact that after a service is over, in a short period of time, this buoyancy seems to vanish and fade away. The retaining of this spiritual nourishment is dependent, blessed ones, on mankind’s realization that the threefold flame within the heart must continue to expand in the manner in which it did during the service. The polarization which occurred during the service must be sustained consciously by the lifestream, and one must learn to avoid those extremes of human thought and feeling which disturb and abort the orderly arrangement of the electrons within one’s bodies and physical form.
Many of you are perhaps familiar with the interrelation ship of iron filings with a magnet. When the iron filings are haphazardly scattered (resembling the sometimes chaotic conditions of the outer world), a magnet placed on a piece of paper or a pane of glass directly underneath these iron filings will cause them to arrange themselves in a perfect magnetic pattern, according to the design within the magnet. God, the Holy Spirit, is the magnet which lines up the energies of your own physical, mental, emotional and etheric bodies. After this great polarization process has taken place, one experiences a soi-disant† letdown or withdrawal during which the world momentum of illusion, the mass hoax of human thought patterns, seemingly counteracts the repolarization. In divine reality nothing really changes at all; however, the illusory patterns within men’s minds restate disharmony according to the previously established energy norms. This is an example of the precipitation of ideas—as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he in outer expression.1
Blessed ones, the time for seriousness is now. It is not a temporary seriousness occasioned by this address I AM giving today for your edification. It is an occasion for a perpetual seriousness, and I do not refer here to an unhappy or austere attitude to life like that of a grouchy monk who lifts his beads in his hand to say his prayers while he regrets the fact that he still has more beads to pass his hand over.
I AM speaking of a happy condition wherein an individual lifestream recognizes the power and the pressure of the Holy Spirit as a benign radiance from the sun shining within his being and from the heavens above. I speak of the gaiety of a frolicking child tripping outdoors to play upon the green sward and absorbing the warmth and friendliness of the beautiful sun. This is a happy condition and God intends his children to be happy. Many of the planets in the vast universal system of worlds are filled with happy people—not disgruntled people, not people whose attention is upon trivialities, but people whose attention is joyously expressing the Christ.
The reason why the mankind of earth continually find distress although they do not always seek it, heaven knows, is because they constantly mimic and outpicture the discord which they see reflected in the faces and conversation of others with whom they come in contact and of that particular denomination of thoughtforms carried by radio, television, movies, sensational newspapers and other mass media to which they attune their consciousness. It was this momentum of mimicry which caused mankind to absorb the original discordant radiation from the laggards who came to this planet so long ago.2 In fact, it is the absorption and the outpicturing of human foolishness and weakness which has caused all the pain and all the shadow to be created and sustained wherever in the universe and on any evolutionary system in which it does exist.
When it was decided by the great cosmic councils to remove the discordant, recalcitrant lifestreams from other planets and systems of worlds, the loving children of earth offered to be voluntary hosts to these laggards so that they might come here and through being exposed to the beauty and perfection of the children of earth, themselves outpicture it. Blessed and beloved ones, when the moment of their birth came, through human parents who had volunteered their lifestreams to nurture and educate these souls, it was a moment of great expectation and hope.
Alas, the promise of that hope was not fulfilled. On the contrary, the reverse took place. The earthlings did not succeed in teaching the way of harmony to their guests, but the laggards’ erroneous consciousness was projected to and outpictured by earth’s children. Blessed and beloved ones, the results of this catastrophe are all of the foolish and hideous appearances, the incongruities which manifest in physical forms.
Today men and women are very much taken up with many fads of diet and are often concerned with their physical appearance, desiring to be slim, which is understandable in the light of cosmic beauty and being. But blessed and beloved ones, the reason for all distortion in the physical form is the abuse of energy; it is the result of human discord. Therefore, if you will stop to realize that in the victory of your ascension is release from these conditions, you will deem it wise not to attach so much importance to the physical at all. You will recognize that the important thing at this time is to begin the process by which you will make your ascension into light, where you will behold the absolutely perfect divine image of your own being expressed. And then in the beauteous body of immortality you will find that all of your dreams and hopes are fulfilled. I pray you will understand and make this wisdom a part of your daily thought.
I am particularly enamored today with the idea of beloved Diana’s coming to you.3 For even in our octave, we regard her as a queen and a beautiful cosmic being. It is good that no one will be able to see her, for her beauty would cause mankind to follow her wherever she might go upon earth. And yet I am certain that if they were to touch the hem of her aura with their physical consciousness, it would consume them in an instant. Therefore, it is well that they do not approach too close to her beauteous form, for she is a being of cosmic fire.
Now the Holy Spirit is also a cosmic fire, but it manifests in a different manner. These cloven tongues of flame, representative of the uplifting wings of the Holy Spirit and symbolized by the dove, are a magnificent blessing to mankind. But they radiate a coolness, a most exalting feeling which lifts man to his own divine purity. The radiation of Diana, the Goddess of Fire, is highly transmutative. Her benediction this afternoon is intended to help you find release from all negative conditions whatsoever that have troubled you throughout this embodiment and all of your past lives.
Those of you who come with a proper attitude toward the Holy Spirit, which I represent, and with an intense feeling of love for the Holy Spirit, will derive a greater benefit from the radiation of beloved Diana. Therefore today, in preparation for that event, I, the Lord Maha Chohan, bring you a radiation of the Holy Spirit.
I call directly to the great temple of light in Ceylon,4 and I ask that the angels of the Holy Spirit shall bring a sacred scroll on which is written the name of God in gold, and that they bear this scroll today into your midst and sustain it here until this class shall terminate. I command that this scroll, upon which is written the name of God with divine energy, shall radiate the energies of the Holy Spirit into your physical form, your mental body, your emotional body and your etheric envelope until you shall feel like a new page in the eternal Book of Life.
Blessed ones, the Holy Spirit is the compassion of God! It is the desire in you always to be your divine perfection. It is the desire in you to have the quality of life which does not crucify but which exalts, raises and glorifies. The Holy Spirit writes upon this page all perfection always. It is so magnificent!

I thank you for your attention, for rising in honor to this Spirit which sustains the life of each one of you and the life of all men upon earth.
Come, thou Holy Spirit, thou sacred dove. Rest upon the brow of these, thy children. Come, thou great Cosmic Mother, place thy kiss of peace upon the forehead of each one. Let them feel a new sense of reunion with their God Selves. Let them sustain this love not only today but forever. Let them feel the pressure of the clean white page extending to the past and through their worlds of reality into the fourth-dimensional consciousness. And before they act in a manner to blot this page, let them see the lily-white purity of the God consciousness expressed. And thus shall mankind sustain the great untrammeled purity of the Holy Spirit in the world of form, and life shall be more beautiful because it becomes the God which in truth it is.
I, the Maha Chohan, express my love to you today. I express my love to you in those unutterably magnificent tones of the Holy Spirit, not alone through the physical voice but through the calm stillness of your being.
(Will you now be seated please, and make yourselves comfortable.)
I wish to lower a cosmic cube, the exact size of this room, to fill it completely. This cosmic cube is composed of angelic substance resembling jasper.** It radiates a tremendous celestial light and it shall interpenetrate your physical form in the fourth dimension. If you will remain as still as possible mentally, spiritually and physically in order to absorb the radiation of this cosmic cube of light, you will find assistance rendered you of an incomparable nature which shall manifest not only through the coming year but also for all time to come. I bring this blessing today to you who have attended this class because the spiritual hierarchy is attempting thereby to unite the peoples of earth in one body, in one world movement which shall support the ushering in of the golden age. Now as this cube comes into manifestation, absorb the fullness of its radiation, and when I desire you to move again I shall speak. [63-second pause]
Gloria in excelsis Deo! Glory be to God on high. The day approaches when the kingdoms of this world shall become the kingdoms of the Christ.

When their home planets were destroyed, the laggards, through the mercy of the Great Law, were given another opportunity.
