Judgment as the Means to Redemption
The Quickening by the Holy Spirit Must Come to All
As the lightning cometh from the east and goeth unto the west, so shall the coming of the Son of man be.1
Here in the retreat at Luxor2, the action of white fire is increased in response to the mandate of Jesus the Christ delivered as the flaming sword of peace, which is come for judgment in the Middle East.3
“Out of Egypt have I called my Son;4 I call this day,” thus sayeth the LORD of hosts to the Christ consciousness in every man, woman and child living in the Middle East, whether Arab or Jew or Gentile or Christian or heathen.
So, ye people who dwell in the ancient land of all that is real, I say, let the light come forth! Let the light be quickened! Let the light be for judgment this day! Let there be a response from the hearts of those who would espouse truth. And let those who would not, then, remain in outer darkness.
To you who choose the darkness, I say, be contained in the circle of fire, the circle of the Lord’s consciousness. Be contained by the staying action of the hand of God. For your energies and your darkness will not be allowed to contaminate this planetary home or to pollute the dimensions of the Christ consciousness in Mater. Be confined, then, to your own darkness. Let the light spring forth, and let the light be for the fulfillment of the Law.
I come to you this day as the hierarch of the Ascension Temple. For I stand at the portal of the ascension flame. I welcome candidates who come to be disciplined that they might be found one with the flame. And I come with the sternness of the Law, as in these latter times mankind search for an answer to the equation of life.
The Choice to Be a God-Free Being
Life as mortality has always been complex, an enigma, but life as immortality has always been in the mandate, “Choose you this day whom ye will serve!”5 Choice, then, makes the difference between God-free beings and those who are slaves to their own sensuality. Yes, the Devil is real. But even if he were not real, I say, mankind have within themselves, by choice, a forcefield of deified evil whereby they have elevated the ego and, thereby, have dwelling within their members a consciousness that is anti-Christ directly opposed to the fulfillment of the law of reality. Nevertheless, no figment of the imagination is he.
Operating wholly within the framework of cosmic law, the fallen ones, the Luciferians, come in the line of hierarchy in the order of those who have chosen, by free will, to move as an independent creation apart from the Almighty. Completely within the laws of God, then, is there that allotted time and portion in space for them to return, by mercy and by grace. And it is by grace that all are saved. It is not of yourselves; it is the gift of God.
What, then, of initiation and of the Path and of working the works of God and of those who strive to enter in, who must be measured against those who have striven not? You see, the LORD God sets an obstacle course for mankind and the Mother herself, creating mayic veils, veil upon veil, whereby the soul may be tested. And the testing of the soul is that the spirit might be whole.
What is the intent? What is the motivation? What is the bent of the consciousness? When that is determined, when tests are met with honor and with love, then, you see, God bestows the supreme gift and grace. And therefore it cannot truly be said that mankind earn immortality. And yet, in the process of striving, they are winning a course of victory. And at the goal of that race is the prize—the proffered gift of God to son and daughter, a gift which may be given or withheld.
The Quickening Comes
When the Christ within Is the Christ Without
By law, by grace, by love, by quickening, you come to the throne and to the altar. And some of you have been quickened by the Holy Spirit, and some of you are waiting yet for the quickening, as at the pool of Bethesda when the angel troubled the waters. And all that were sick and lame and halt waited for the coming of the angel and the troubling of the waters. And one man could not come to touch that water to be healed, for he was lame. And thus, by the grace of God, the Christ quickened him and he was made whole.6
Some of you are at that point where by and by you will hear the rustling of the wind, the moving of the waters, the rushing of a torrent of light. And you will know that the Spirit, even the Holy Spirit of God, of the Lord himself, draweth nigh. And you will understand that the quickening is near, and in that quickening is the melting of the elements of consciousness with a fervent heat. And in the melting there is a melding whereby that which was the outer consciousness is welded to the inner consciousness, and no more does man or woman experience duality. But the quickening comes when the Christ within you is also the Christ without, and your being, your consciousness, your very countenance shines with the glow-ray of the Christed presence.
That quickening and that hour must come to everyone. And when it comes, there is the alignment with hierarchy whereby you walk the earth as a forcefield of light of other worlds and other octaves. And this quickening may come to the child in the womb if the child is an initiate of the sacred fire. It may come to the little children, to young adults, to the more mature. But there is a moment when all that is dark is consumed and then man has dominion. And he is the dominion of the Christ because he is dominated by the Christ because he has chosen to be so dominated, that the Christ might increase, that the carnal mind might decrease.
I urge you, then, to wait upon the Lord, wait upon his coming—to tarry, then, in the city of Jerusalem, in the City Foursquare, the cube of God consciousness, to tarry in Mater for the quickening, to be not weary in well doing7 in this plane. For all is for an appointed purpose, an appointed round, whereby immortality, regeneration and resurrection’s fires will come to you, that you also might be the example of the living Christ. Thus when the fires of trial come upon you, you will stand because you have been quickened and because you have received the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is mankind’s bulwark against the day of judgment.
If a man ought to fear, it is the fearing that he should come to the Court of the Sacred Fire and to the judgment without the wedding garment of the Holy Spirit. If there is fear and if there is trembling, then let mankind tremble in anticipation of that moment when the wedding garment must be ready, when consciousness must be refined, purified, one in the flame.
So come the winds of the Holy Spirit to sweep the planet round with comfort, yet with a firm tenderness, a caress that is the caress of fire, portending the day of judgment but also portending the day of liberation by judgment. If you are ready and you know that you are ready, then defend that readiness against all darkness. And when you are equal to the defense, by the sword of the Mother, of that attainment within, then I say, welcome the judgment and call forth judgment. For only by judgment are energies aligned and does man become the fullness of God.
Holding the Balance within Your Heart
Lurking in the shadows of the world there stands the dweller-on-the-threshold of the planetary body. Because that dweller is challenged, that dweller comes forth to assert an identity apart from God. Those who understand the initiations of the dark night of the soul8 and the meeting of the dweller-on-the-threshold will know that as Christ met the dweller, personified in Satan, so every son and daughter who would return to the heart of the flame must meet and challenge the dweller that is the carnal mind within and the dweller that stands on the threshold of planetary awareness.
And when you meet the planetary forms of evil and the creations of the dark ones, you stand to become the planetary Buddha, with Maitreya, holding the consciousness of the Buddha that is the attainment of the twelve hierarchies of the Sun at the planetary level, which means exactly this— that you, by the balance of the flame within your heart, can stand in time and space as a forcefield of God’s light to hold the balance for lifewaves who are yet to come into an age of maturity and responsibility.
To hold the balance in this hour of the appearance of the Holy Spirit means mastery of the flame of reality, means merging with the hierarchy that is called by you Libra. The balance scales are of the Holy Spirit and are for the holding of the reigns of Christ light in the emotional body of the planet, in the mental body and between the two, as all of the forces of darkness and the dweller-on-the-threshold himself seek to unseat that balance of power, wisdom and love within you.
The Release of Light Brings New Responsibility
Take heed, then. For I, Serapis, speak directly to the heart of each one. You are here because you have earned the right to be here. The right to opportunity is given even to the prodigal son. Because you have heard my words and receive now the spark of white fire, which I send as white lightning into your hearts, because you have received this energizing from the court of Luxor and from ascension’s fire, you, then, have a new responsibility to maintain a certain awareness, a certain level of God consciousness. This is why hierarchy is never too anxious to appear directly to mankind, for to behold the emissaries of God is not without responsibility. It is not without a karmic accountability.
For those who behold Christed ones, ascended ones or hear the Word have, then, that light within their auras which flows from every ascended and cosmic being of the Great White Brotherhood. Being charged, then, with a new light and a new fire, you are expected to act accordingly. And when, in subsequent days and weeks, you come to Luxor to knock upon the door to gain admittance to our classes that are conducted by initiates on behalf of unascended mankind, you will be observed to see what you have done with this release of light which I have brought this day from Luxor to the retreat of the Mother.
The Judgment of the Law
Releases the Energy for the Redemption of the Soul
Mighty Cosmos’ secret rays are released to seal the action of the Mother flame and the expansion of light on this coast for an extended period, which is granted because you have kept the faith as watchmen upon the wall of the Lord. You who have heard the call and answered and who have come to the ascended masters’ university,9 who have given your love and your devotion in invocation and service—you have been, before the Lords of Karma, a testimony of what can be accomplished here and now. And thus, the hand of cataclysm is stayed once again for another cycle, until those who are the captives of the Lord are brought into the captivity of his law, that captivity might be brought captive, that sons and daughters might renew the ancient covenant of the Ancient of Days, of Sanat Kumara, to bear that sacred fire with the Holy Kumaras.
And thus, even as judgment is nigh, as the precipice of the cliff to which you suddenly are drawn, so redemption also is nigh. Side by side, judgment and redemption, redemption and judgment—this is the balance of the scales of the Holy Spirit. Each time, then, that you feel the light of God judging the imperfections of the human consciousness, release the fires of gratitude and say, “I thank thee, O God, that I might be judged of a fault or an aspect that is not of the light and yet retain opportunity and identity to become one with thee. Therefore I lovingly accept judgment as the means to redemption. And I invoke the resurrection fires to spiral through me, to burn out the cause and core of that which is judged, that it might become quickened, fired, transmuted, melted and sealed now as the newfound identity of God in man.” And thus, point and counterpoint, the judgment of the Law releases the energy for the redemption of the soul.
The Action of Ascension’s Fire
I say, welcome the purging of the fire. Welcome that purging! And I release now an extraordinary action of purging fires through the heart of the Mother of the Flame, that in this octave and in this nation there might be intensified this action of the purge and the judgment for the regeneration. Be not, then, dismayed when you find yourselves melting with a fervent heat of fire. For this, then, is the drawing nigh of that aspect of the Mother flame that complements the Holy Spirit to tear down all that is unreal, acting as the destroyer of darkness, of demons, of discarnates that have no place in the presence of the Holy Spirit.
Understand, then, that as you have basked in the light of holy Mary, so you will also bask in the light of Kali, and you will know what it means to have the sword of the Mother strip from you those pockets of darkness that you knew not were in the folds of the garment of consciousness. Accept, then, this action of the Mother as the love of the Holy Spirit in the Mother. Resist not the purge. For then, you see, when you are cleansed and made whole, you will stand, still in time and space, God-free beings, helping all mankind to win the race!
We need overcomers in form. We have an abundance of overcomers in Spirit and in heaven. We need unascended beings whose commitment is more than an affirmation, whose commitment is the cauterizing of being and consciousness by fire, until the wax of identity is melted and then reformed in the image of perfection.
I AM Serapis Bey. I AM waiting to release another volume of the Dossier on the Ascension.10 But I must wait with my release, for ascension’s fires wax hot in the aura of the impure. And thus, greater forcefields of purity must be raised up so that when ascension’s fires are released, as the action of the spoken Word, mankind will not fall and be consumed.
Even this day my coming was weighed by the Lords of Karma, for it was considered that this action of fire which I bring would also bring that weeping and gnashing of teeth unto those who are to be judged by this fire and yet have not the wedding garment, the seamless garment of the deathless solar body. Yet, judgment is nigh and, therefore, judgment is delivered. For the Lords of Karma determined that it is the action of regeneration, which will flow as a mighty wave following judgment, that will bring to mankind that liberty, that peace, that love for which all yearn.
I AM, then, the fire of God-control in the white-fire core of the ascension flame. I bid you, draw forth the mastery of that fire, and see to it that the spirals of Taurus anchor a spiral of victory in this Motherhouse, a victory such as this continent has not seen, even since the last days of Mu. So let there be restoration!
I bid you, go up to the mountain to the garden of meditation this day, and anchor that light of fire in the mountain. And it will flow from the Aleutian chain to Terra del Fuego. And the elementals will carry that fire in the rock as a quickening, and then it will circle the planet round. And in earth, in the very physical atoms of the earth, regeneration will start the quickening process for the elemental kingdom.
I AM in you the fire of the ascension flame. I seal you in that fire! And you leave with fire that you have not known yet in this embodiment.
I AM your champion in the discipline of the Law. Ask for discipline. Receive it well. And know the merging of the fire of your heart with the fire of my heart. I AM one in the star of your being.

I command peace to flow from the heart of God! I command war to cease in the name of God! I release the fires of the resurrection. And let all who persist in war be consumed by the fires of peace. Peace, be still! . . . I, Jesus the Christ, anchor my flame of peace, which shall be for judgment this day. Let those who have persisted in their warfare, in their hatred, in their darkness receive that warfare, that hatred and that darkness upon themselves, and let them rend their garments this day. And let them stand naked before the high tribunal of the Lord, and let them receive the judgment which they have meted upon themselves by their own actions, by their own misuse of the Law.”

The dark night of the soul is the test of the soul’s encounter with the return of personal karma, which, if she has not kept her lamps (chakras) trimmed with light, may eclipse the light (Christ consciousness) of the soul and therefore its discipleship under the Son of God. It precedes the Dark Night of the Spirit, the supreme test of Christhood, when the soul is, as it were, cut off from the I AM Presence and must survive solely on the light (Christ consciousness) garnered in the heart, while holding the balance for planetary karma.
