I AM come for the quickening. I AM come to ignite the flame of the Paraclete. I AM come for the quickening of the flame in the heart of the City Foursquare and in the hearts of those who obey the Lord’s injunction, “Tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem until ye be endued with power from on high.”1
I AM in the flame of power of the Most High God. I descend into your midst. I bring to you the flame that is a flame of reason and yet it is beyond all reason—the flame of the Logos that is of the mind of God, that is the essence of his love, that is, above all, the power of the working of those miracles that are in reality the fulfillment of cosmic law.
I come for the victory of the Trinity within you. I come to call you to the altar of the Holy Spirit. I come that you might be reborn in that flame and that you might take that portion which you are able to receive and then infire it with your own momentum of service, of prayer and meditation, and the very works of your blessed hands.
I give a portion of myself as the leaven of the mind of God. Will you not be the wheat, the good wheat of the Lord’ field, that would be beaten and then pounded and then separated and then grounded into flour and then kneaded by the hands of the Lord to be made into bread for the Lord’s table, that he might break the bread and thereby allow the children of God to partake of that blessed bread which is your own consciousness that has risen in that consciousness of the Lord? Will you not be the fitting chalice? Will you not be made into bread for the Lord’s table?
Yet without the leaven, without the coming of the Holy Spirit, the children of God cannot partake of your substance or your essence. And so, if you are willing to be pummeled, willing to be broken, to be recast in a new mold, to give yourself that others might live, then you have need of the flame. Christianity that is less than this has no need of the Holy Spirit. And therefore, those who do not give the all of the self do not receive of the flame or the breath of my coming or the gifts that are in my hand as the representative of the Third Person of the blessed Trinity to mankind.
Some will receive the Father and accept the Law. Some will receive the Son and accept the wisdom. But unless you become the Father and the Son, you will not have the love and the honor whereby you can receive into your temple the sacred fire of the Holy Ghost. It is the fire of love that is all-consuming, and it is only given to those who will not be consumed by that fire and who will not consume others by that fire. Take heed, then, for every day is the day of the coming of the Lord unto his house, and you never know when his Spirit will fill the temple of your being.
Therefore, truly, give praise unto the Lord! Praise his name that you might confirm his Presence in your being. As you praise, you are giving the power of the ray in manifestation of the Son and in the energy of the Mother. Praise is giving power to the ray of the “I” where you are, the I AM THAT I AM of the Sun Presence and the full energy of God. Praise is a confirmation of that power, that wisdom and that love. And by praise, you open the eye of the chakras, as opening the lens of a camera. You open wide the portal of consciousness and you say with Christ, “I AM the open door which no man can shut!”2
To whom would you open the door this day? Why, to the Holy Spirit, to the LORD’s host. And who will be the invited guest? And who will receive and answer the invitation? Why, the LORD God Almighty, the LORD of hosts. The I AM THAT I AM is his name.
If you are to be the open door, see to it, then, that you open the door to him, to his emissaries, and not to the spirits of the fallen ones, who also try to enter when the children of God lift up their voices and their joy and their hearts in love for God. They are kept out by your innocence, by your honor, by your faithfulness to the One.
You may not have all knowledge. You may not have all the gifts of God. You may not have miracles in your hands. But you will have all things if you have the innocence of the child and the honor that is unto the responsible sons and daughters of God. By innocence and honor, you may hold open the door of consciousness and know that the honor and the innocence of the Lord within you will screen out the unwholesome spirits, the dark ones, the ones who come tempting the sons and daughters of God. They can never, never, never pass through the veil of the innocence of the child.
Therefore, become as little children.3 Become fastidious in the pursuit of the Law. And make your goal the loving of God—to love him for the sake of loving him, not for getting his Spirit or his Son or his Father flame, not for getting the Mother or the comforts of heaven or of earth. Love him for the sake of loving him and you will do all things well.
You will work the works of God. You will indeed be his handiwork. And every good thing that is his to give unto you will come unto you. And you will work a work in that day, that acceptable day of the Lord that is for the fulfilling of the City Foursquare and the foursquare consciousness of the teaching of Christ—Christ the King, Christ the Conqueror, Christ the Redeemer, Christ the Healer, Christ the Son of God, Christ the Communicator of the Word. Again and again and again the fourfold aspect of the Christ consciousness is multiplied until all of the functions of the Christ are infinite in number, translating to you even the very dewdrops and the oil, the precious oil of healing, and the unguents of the Father’s love.
Let your goal be to be the chalice of God. Let it be to seek to know him and love him more and more each day. And let this love be manifest in the penance of purification, in the partaking of the threefold flame, in the calling upon the name of the Lord, in the giving forth of the wondrous decrees of your divinity—the very fiats that issue forth from your own God Source confirming the Word where I AM THAT I AM.
Let your joy be in the ritual of becoming God by loving him for the sake of loving, and you will find that day by day the Trinity will come unto you. And by that Trinity you will do all the works that are assigned to the apostles of Christ.
It is not the mere speaking of the teaching or the studying of the teaching. This is the setting of the cement of consciousness in the right mold. But when the mold is set, then the mold must be filled with the living Spirit that is beyond the reason of the teaching, its study, its definition. The flame of God transcends all and yet it must be encased in that mold of Mater.
Make yourself a fitting instrument. For I would come unto you. I would fill you and infire you. But I must find the vessel that will not crack, the vessel that is not so small that it will overflow to spill the precious energies on the ground, the vessel that is not so warped that it will give a distortion to that Spirit. I must find the fitting vessel and then I will pour out of the Spirit of God unto you in measureless abundance. And by that Spirit, and only by that Spirit, will you work the works of God in this age. All else is vanity.
Let us be humble before God. I am but the instrument of the LORD’s Spirit that is also greater than any ascended being or any individualization of the flame. His Spirit transcends all and yet is in all. And I am yet but the dispenser of that light and that portion and that flame which the evolutions of this world can contain. I am in you this day the desire to love God, to be God, and to work his works on earth.
Let this desire be fulfilled in you. Let all lesser desires be laid upon the altar of God. They have had their day tramping upon the consciousness of the children of God. Let them go into the flame, and let go of them! Let them be consumed.
Let all who would receive now that portion that he is able to bear kneel and confirm the praise of the Holy Spirit.

I tarry with you, in each heart and in each soul. I conclude my worded release so that you might feel beyond the Word the very measure of the LORD’s Spirit.
In the name of the Son, in the name of the Father-Mother God, in the flame of the One, I AM come, and I seal you.
Freely ye receive, freely give.4 As ye give, so receive.
I AM with you in this victory of the age!
