Ladies and gentlemen, I thank you for your response and your confirmation of my vow.
Your applause has been heard by the angels, who have carried your energy to those cosmic councils who are apprised that there are sons and daughters of liberty yet fired with a holy zeal and who will also remain to carry the banner of freedom, of Maitreya, and of the Divine Mother. These are the same cosmic councils who once reviewed the destiny of Terra and who determined, because there were none who were keeping the flame, that there was no reason to perpetuate this planetary home.
That was the hour when Sanat Kumara, the champion of freedom and of the light of a cosmos, stepped forth to volunteer to keep the flame on earth. And so his vow was acceptable unto the cosmic councils. By the vow of one Keeper of the Flame, Terra was allowed to remain and your opportunity for evolution as souls moving toward the center of God was preserved!
Let us remember the words of Abraham Lincoln, “that these dead shall not have died in vain.”1 I say, for the saints who have walked before you, for the patriots of light and of freedom in every nation who have lived and died for the freedom of their people, let us live to preserve freedom in America and in every nation! Let us live because millions have gone before us who have been willing to be martyred for Christ, for freedom, and for the love of their country!
Millions in the Soviet Union and in China have lost their lives for the love of that Mother flame, of Mother Russia, and of the wisdom of China. They are the saints robed in white who are on the etheric plane, not yet ascended, and who cry out, “How long, O LORD?2 How long? How long will our brothers and our sisters on earth bear the cross of the crucifixion?” And the LORD God answers, “It is not yet—not yet time or space to draw them into the white-fire core.”
These saints and these sages are the ones who walk the earth in deference to life and to freedom, preferring that life and that freedom beyond the self. These are the devotees of the masters! These are the devotees of Jesus and Gautama and Mohammed and Confucius! And wherever they are in evolution, they are willing to bear witness to the truth, which they believe. They are our chelas! They are the ones who belong to the mantle of Saint Germain and Morya! We find them where they are and we take them, niche by niche, higher and higher in consciousness until those who are at the top of the spectrum are able to receive the crumbs from the masters’ table of the teaching, of the Law, and then to eat, to assimilate, and to become that Law.
Ladies and gentlemen, won’t you be seated.
I am not afraid to be a patriot! I am not ashamed of this land, America, or of any land! I will stand and hold up the flags of the nations of the free world! I will uphold the flag of any nation that has not been soiled by the archdeceivers, who have claimed those nations as their own.
I would speak to you, then, of the desecration of the flags of the nations and of the flag, Old Glory. I would tell you that that flag was sewn by the Divine Mother herself, that that design is a cosmic design and that the stars in the flag represent the initiations of the Christ consciousness. And now there is the fulfillment of the fifty—the initiations that come to the American people first in order to pass the tests of the secret rays.
The five secret rays must be balanced in the secret-ray chakras by the power of the test of the ten.3 This initiation has been outlined to you by Gautama Buddha in his series on the Buddhic light.4 And so, you see, the wisdom of the East and of the Lord of the World becomes the initiation of the American people under the hierarch of the Royal Teton, who is also an Eastern master, Lord Confucius.
See, then, how the masters contain all of the cultures of the world. See, then, how there is no respecter of pure sons and daughters of God, no respecter of persons among the masters. For we love all who enshrine that Christ flame. And then there are the thirteen stripes for Christ and his apostles, reminding the American people of the circle of initiation, of the true Teacher who will come to remind them of the promise of the coming of Mother Liberty and of the twelve original apostles, who will keep that flame of liberty under the twelve hierarchies of the sun. And so the thirteen is a basic unit of hierarchy and a basic unit of initiation.
The flag of America, in its many transformations since the beginning, is enshrined in the Royal Teton Retreat. And one day the red stripes that symbolize the shedding of blood will be seen as the golden light of the purified Christ consciousness. In that day war will be no more and all will unite in the banner of unity under Micah, the Angel of Unity, who comes once again to the New Jerusalem. He comes to unite the children of Israel and the twelve tribes of Israel and all of their descendants under the twelve solar hierarchies for the fulfillment of the Christ consciousness and the birth of the long-awaited Messiah—that Divine Manchild, the gift of God to every nation, to every religion, to every path. Therefore the Christ is not exclusive to one path or another, to one period in history, or to one nation. But the Christ in every nation can and does declare, “Before Abraham was, I AM.”5
I AM THAT I AM! I AM the restoration of the unity of the Christ consciousness in the American people and in every nation!
I release the violet flame to dissolve all superstition, all factionalism, all narrow-mindedness, all chauvinism, which is a false attachment to the nation based on the pride of the ego. Let your attachment to your nation, then, be the attachment to the mandala of the Christ and of the original thirteen, who are the masters who govern the destiny of that mandala of karma and of dharma, which is the fiery destiny of that nation to fulfill.
I come to release the light of freedom for the canceling out of all witchcraft and black magic! In order to release this energy into the city of San Francisco, I require your authority and your assent in this octave. I ask you, then, to repeat the words:
“I AM the light and the authority of Saint Germain in San Francisco!” [Audience repeats: “I AM the light and the authority of Saint Germain in San Francisco!”]
So be it! I take the authority you give me and I release into the plane of Mater the cleansing action of the violet flame of freedom, erasing the cause and core of those spirals of darkness that were initiated here in the fallen culture of the fallen Lemurians and the fallen Atlanteans, who gathered here to milk the light of purity, to take the energies of Archangel Gabriel and Hope and of Purity, whose retreats are close at hand in the etheric plane.6
And so they came to usurp that light. And so they took that light of the Mother to destroy the body temples in a drug culture, in a subculture that came out of the astral pit and out of the darkness of hell. Now the cycles have turned! Now the sons and daughters of God have risen! And they have risen with a healing of the Divine Mother in their wings,7 in their consciousness, and in their chakras!
So you have sent forth the mandate for the clearing of this forcefield. I have come, then, to dissolve the cause, effect, record, and memory of the issues that came out of Haight-Ashbury8 and all of those forcefields of the misuses of the rhythm of the Divine Mother, the rhythm that comes from the four petals of the base chakra of the Mother. So let it be restored, and let the love of the sons and daughters of God for the divine harmonies come to the fore with a cultural renaissance beginning in San Francisco, as the phoenix bird that rises from the ashes of that which is a dead and dying vibration.
So let the phoenix bird rise! Let the culture of the Mother go forth! I send forth the fiat, the prophecy, the will, and the energy so that you might fulfill the mandate! So be it! Let it be released!
Angels of the violet flame, now saturate this city and its environs and those communities that are a part of the Bay Area. And let the word go forth that Saint Germain has come to town, that I AM here and that I AM come to stay as long as there are Keepers of the Flame in this city who are willing to keep that flame of freedom!
Now I make known to you the request of the Divine Mother, and some of you have been wondering what the Divine Mother would ask you to do and what your response would be.
Well, you need not wonder any longer, for I AM the representative of the Cosmic Virgin! I carry the flame of freedom for Omega, for the Divine Mother, for the Goddess of Purity! I carry that flame! And my zeal and my joy and my fervor for freedom is the love of the Divine Mother for me and the love that I return to her.
And so the wish of the Divine Mother is to establish firmly in the physical plane a focus of the Church Universal and Triumphant, of Summit International, to have a headquarters in this city that is worthy of the ascended masters and worthy of the flame of the Mother.9
I am designating the number thirty-three as the requirement for the chelas who will become a part of that focus, who will live in that flame and in that focus. And each chela who is called to serve in that focus will represent an initiation in hierarchy, a step of consciousness through which those entering the focus must pass in order to reach the successive stages of attainment along the Path to the ascension.
Step by step, as each member of this community will hold the balance of life for the thirty-three, they will open the door and make possible the coming to the fore in this age of many, many souls of light and children of the One who are waiting—waiting for the word of truth and for the teachings of the Great White Brotherhood.
Now I say, who will respond to help the Divine Mother this day, and who will respond to keep the flame of freedom in order to make this focus be a reality? [Some in audience say, “I will!”]
So you have spoken and your word is recorded by recording angels, and you will be given the momentum to fulfill your word. And those of you who come from other cities, you can assist by your invocations and your devotions. You can assist by giving those calls that will bring forth the necessary supply, the energies, and the souls who are to be a part of this mandala.
Now let the messenger return to Colorado Springs to call forth those souls who are at Summit University who are willing to be trained to fulfill this opportunity. And let the light of the diamond that I have placed in the heart of America now draw those others from among you and from those who are not in these rooms in order to fulfill their fiery destiny in this city and in other cities of America, which I shall designate when you show your proof as truth and as love descending from above—as the light of the I AM Presence, as the right to be free, as the energy God-given consigned to your soul.
So release that energy to fulfill your goal, and remember this simple truth: “The LORD giveth and the LORD taketh away.”10
What you have today is yours to keep or yours to give away. If you do not give it to the ascended masters today, ere the cycles pass and the decades are fulfilled, you will discover at the end of this mortal round that the LORD God will take that which you have failed to give. Therefore the decision to give is whether or not to give now or to have it taken later.
Strangely enough, mankind do not remember this principle of life. They may say to one another, “You can’t take it with you when you go.” Nevertheless, they keep on with their struggling and their striving for material gain, amassing wealth and more wealth, stopping the flow of cosmic abundance in the body of God upon earth. In the words of Christ I say, “Freely ye have received, freely give.”11
I AM Saint Germain, your Knight Commander! I stand for freedom! I stand for America! I stand for the light of the I AM Presence!
I AM victory into the Sun.
Mother’s Comments following the Dictation:
Saint Germain’s retreat in America is known as the Cave of Symbols because in the retreat there are symbols, as hieroglyphs, recording the entire history of the planet and the history of freedom. He also guards there the inventions of science and discoveries that are to be made in the Aquarian age by scientists who will come forth to enshrine the light of the Christ and the Mother.
Today, as Saint Germain was speaking, he allowed me to see, also in the Cave of Symbols, the flags of all the nations of the world—the flags as they are today and the inner matrix of the flag as it is intended to be in the golden age.
He keeps that point of the flag as it is, as the relative tie to the human consciousness, and he keeps the matrix of what is to be as the point of attainment in the Christ consciousness. He focuses this because he says that the flag of every people is the symbol of their attainment in the Christ, in their group karma and their group dharma.
And when the Christ consciousness is realized individually in each nation as the fulfillment of the Law, then we will have a one world and a one-world government because all have united in the Christ. And until that time, Saint Germain is the champion of the guarding of the individual rights of each people and each nation in order to keep them in their circle of fire and their circle of the Aum so that they can fulfill the mandala of their destiny and then offer it as a jewel of attainment on the altar of a world humanity.
But until they are ready to give that contribution upon the altar of the world by self-discipline, by the discipline according to cosmic law, we are not ready for that unity. And that unity becomes an amalgamation of darkness, a darkness greatly to be feared when it is organized, when it rises to power as total control of our way of life instead of releasing freedom, depriving us of our freedom.
I trust you will understand a little bit more about Uncle Sam and the nature of America and the flame behind America and the tremendous zeal of this master. Whether you’ve been in right-wing or left-wing or middle-of-the-road politics or in none at all, you will understand the zeal of the American people to take part in their government and to have the freedom to choose this or that answer to the solution.
If you will read “A White Paper” by El Morya,12 you will find his instruction on how to determine where you stand politically, not by party but by the measuring rod of truth. Morya says to champion truth where you find it and to not be socketed and pocketed into this or that party or organization or political ideology where you feel compelled to swallow it whole because it is part of a total platform.
Be independent. Be free to back candidates who have the light, regardless of where they stand, as long as they stand for truth. And where there aren’t candidates whom you feel are standing for truth, then call to the Christ consciousness and to the fourteen ascended masters who govern the destiny of America to raise up those worthy to rule.

In the 1960s, the Haight-Ashbury section of San Francisco was becoming known as a center for “hippies,” “flower children,” alternative beliefs and lifestyles, for peaceful gatherings, rock bands and singers, artists, poets, psychedelic drugs and marijuana, nontraditional mores, and for anti-war sentiments, protests and other causes. The movement continued into the ’70s, and elements of this culture were assimilated into the larger society, resulting in various changes to its traditional beliefs and way of life.
