The Unfailing Mercy of God

To You Who Would Sustain Illumination and a Flame
of Transmutation for Those Who Err
in the Keeping of God’s Laws:

Mankind are not to be blamed for seeking comfort and even complete escape from the briars and thorns of human experience that so distress them as they walk life’s pathway, whether those discomforts are the result of their own or another’s previous mistakes. However, I am offering you a quality of God’s divine law which, if you will joyously cooperate with it, will enable you to mitigate more quickly your distressing karmas, as you in mercy help others to do likewise.

It is true that the karmic law is exacting and that it always returns to each lifestream every jot and tittle of energy he has sent out, constructive or otherwise, and always with an accumulation of like energy! Like attracts like, and so all energy gathers to itself more of its kind, more of its kind of vibration, as it completes the circle of its manifestation.

In the case of positive karma, it returns with the same steady hand that sent it out and often with unexpected joy and happiness as the grace of God multiplies the grace of his sons and daughters, grace for grace. In the case of negative karma, it often returns suddenly and unexpectedly, like a boomerang, to the one who sent it forth.

Since God himself is the creator of all that is and as such is therefore in all that is, the godly virtue of mercy is always present, ready and willing to release the balm of its comfort to all who will call it forth and accept it.

Now, there are those living here on earth who claim to understand and obey God’s law of life, living “righteously” and averring that they are quite aware of the exactitude of that law. Yet some of these are quite undisturbed when they see a brother fall under the weight of his own destructive karmas, assuming the attitude that “he made his bed; let him lie in it.” Do such as these think they can possibly escape the retribution that must come upon them from such an un-godlike and merciless state of mind?

You will recall that when the Good Samaritan became aware of the needy traveler upon his way, he did not “pass by on the other side” as did some others.1 This good man paused on his way, leaving his means of conveyance and temporarily interrupting the course of his journey and personal interests to give the most practical service he could to a brother in need. It is one thing to be able to teach the exactitude of the Law that keeps life in balanced expression, but it is quite another to be able to convey the unfailing mercy of that Law as one of the beautiful manifestations of God’s grace.

This week I am directing to you, our gracious readers of The Summit Lighthouse, a radiant beam of my light that carries within it a very gentle but wise suggestion that each one of you might begin to think about how you may manifest toward others more and more of the God virtue of mercy in your thoughts, feelings, spoken words and actions.

It is always so easy to draw conclusions about another’s person, speech or conduct and to say, “That is a violation of the Law.” However, since all embodied here have often violated the Law at one time or another, and if they are yet unascended may be presently doing so, it is far more gracious and merciful to make the call to the (seemingly) erring one’s I AM Presence, whose flame is anchored right within that one’s beating heart, and to say:

Beloved I AM Presence of _________, blaze oceans of violet fire in, through, and around him and his world. Transmute those shadows into your great light; then sustain and expand that light in all ways. Illumine him, set him free right now, and keep him free all ways!

Gracious reader, it is our sincere hope that you will quickly come to know the true feeling of the quality of mercy as it is embodied by the lovely ascended lady master Kuan Yin. Once you really know what that feeling is, you will be quite aware that each one of you has been a frequent recipient of the mercy of God expressed through his divine messengers, the ascended and angelic hosts. Then you will be much more ready and willing to extend from your own world that gift of mercy to all life.

Of a surety, I know that those of you who will begin this practice of giving and expanding mercy to all life will receive from the Lord of the World, our gracious Gautama, his priceless gift of God’s peace, a gift that will give you tremendous assistance to do God’s will each day.

Precious hearts, from this tower of the Lighthouse I am flooding forth to each of you my feelings of mercy, joy and comfort this week. And I am certain that each of you will benefit greatly from this instruction if you will make a conscious endeavor to cooperate lovingly with this merciful quality of the Law.

Our Pearl this week is really an iridescent one, a pearl of great price containing within itself all the colors (virtues) of the entire seven rays. For all of the rays embody the gentle and yet all-powerful manifestation of living mercy, which is so much a part of that God expression, divine grace.

I AM the keeper of the victory of God’s will for you.

1. Luke 10:30-37.

Food for thought from Edwin Markham’s poem:

“Go! Give to the poor sweet Charity’s bread—
For living is giving”—the Angel said.
“O—must I be giving again and again?”
(The weary, wondering question came!)
“O, no!” said the Angel—piercing me through—
“Just give ’til the Master stops giving to you!”
