The Initiation of the Crucifixion
Part 1
O waters of the living Word, flow, sweetly flow. O fires of consecrated light, move gently, move gently.
I come in the flow of the mystic light. I come to commemorate the translation of each one whereby the soul, as living potential, is fired in the baptism of the Holy Spirit to become one forevermore with the permanent atom of being.
As I witnessed the translation of our Lord, as I kept the vigil at the cross with Mary the Mother, with Jesus, so I come in this age to keep the vigil of the cross, to attend the new birth of each one. You have applied in your souls to the Lords of Karma to bear the weight of the sins of the world. You have reached out—yes, you have cried out in the night, “O Lord, what can I do to help mankind?”
Your souls have seen in the temples of the masters that the way of salvation is the realization that life is one. If therefore one cell in the body of God desires to make that sacrifice of which Jesus spoke when he said, “Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit,”1 and if one cell in the body of God desires to become that corn of wheat that dies so that the many cells might live, then the Lords of Karma and Maitreya the Initiator come nigh to give the initiation of the crucifixion.
Do you understand that you can pass through this initiation without surrendering the four lower bodies? Do you understand that the atonement that you can make is an atonement of energy factor whereby, through the surrender of all energy that God has ever given to you into the flame of the sacred fire, you can hold the balance for the planet by the weight of light? My burden is light!2 Therefore the burden of light that you carry comes from the transmuted essence of the sacrifice of all that is less than perfection.
The day will come when God will claim the four lower bodies also. But you can be a living witness to the purging of the cell and of many cells in the body of God upon earth so that these lively stones in the temple might be the electrodes that keep the whole consciousness of humanity intact, preserved for the coming of the great glory of the law of love.
There are some in every age who elect to become stars in the firmament of being. And as one age is concluded and another begins, there must be those who make the arc, carrying energy spirals from one dispensation to the next, from one level of consciousness to the next. These form the bridge over which all of humanity pass into a golden age of enlightenment and peace.
We would build a strong bridge, firm as a golden gate through which the masses might pass. To become pillars in the temple, pillars in the bridge, is a goal indeed. To fulfill it you must come apart and be a separate people, elect unto God.3 The pillars in the bridge must be without alloy, without impurities, without ties to the mass consciousness. Yet they must also have four lower bodies intact, for the plane of Mater requires the support of vehicles for evolving souls.
You are living in a time when the drama—the reenactment of the sacred ritual of Good Friday, of the descent of Jesus into the planes where those departed spirits dwelled—is to be reenacted by the many and by the few on behalf of the many.
The initiation of the crucifixion involves the descent of the soul to the darkest levels of the planet where there are those rebellious ones who have refused to acknowledge the Christ as “the true light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.”4
Therefore, you see, while the body of Jesus lay in the tomb, his soul, his higher mind, was active in the depths of the astral plane. This is the place that has been called purgatory, where the souls of the departed ones from the days of Noah, the days of the sinking of Atlantis, were held because they refused to submit to the law of God. And therefore they had been denied rebirth and entrance into the screen of life.
It was the assignment of Jesus, and it is the assignment of every man and woman who would follow through in the ritual of the crucifixion, to go to the darkest places of the earth and to preach the light, to compel the spirits to come into alignment with the Presence of God. At that moment, then, just before the quickening of the body cells with the resurrection fire, it is necessary to bear witness unto the truth to the mass consciousness. Thus you will see how you will find yourselves teaching the word of truth in places you had not expected to be. And you will understand that this is part of a sacred ritual and that you cannot partake of the fullness of the resurrection spiral until you have accomplished this mission.
It is necessary that in the hour of trial these rebellious ones see the glory, see the sacrifice and the victory upon your brow. It is necessary that they come in contact with those who are willing to make the final sacrifice on their behalf. Then when the contact is made and the Word, as the sacred bread of life, has been broken, you can return for the celebration of the resurrection spiral. And then the quickening of the body temple, the soul, the heart and the mind will also be for those to whom you have preached.
For in their subconscious and in the inner awareness of the soul they will have the ability to see that transforming power of the light. By making the personal contact they will retain the record of your Christ identity as a pattern and a chalice within that subconscious. And whatever happens to you in the glory of the resurrection following that contact, they will also bear witness. And by the very fact of the oneness of God, the oneness of all life, the currents which flow through you will also flow, albeit in lesser measure, through every cell in the body of God evolving upon earth.
You have heard that it is a requirement of the Great Law for the sustaining of the planet, for the justification of its reason for being, that one soul ascend back to the heart of God in each twelve-month cycle.5 Now I show you the mystery of this law. It is necessary that one receive the currents of the ascension flame each year so that, by the process of the electric energy flowing from cell to cell, each year there might be impressed upon the consciousness of evolving humanity the awareness of the flow of ascension currents. Thus the very power of Victory!
Behold how the fire of the ascension, flowing through and magnetizing one soul to God, can create tremors throughout the body of the earth and even the need for the adjustment in nature that manifests as storm, as cataclysm. You remember the lightning and the thunder in the hour of the crucifixion of Jesus. How well I remember it, for I have heard that sound and felt that current each time a son of God has passed the test of the crucifixion and each time a son of God returns in the ritual of the ascension.
All of nature must adjust to the influx of light, and humanity also. If this requirement of the Law is not fulfilled, then the reason for being of any world ceases to exist. As long as there are those, then, who are willing to submit to the disciplines of the hierarch of the Ascension Temple,6 the world will remain as a place of opportunity for evolving souls. And as long as there be one who ascends, there will always be progress in human evolution. For even science, invention, education, and the fields of medicine and healing are quickened and propelled forward by the action of the ascension of one life.
And so you can see that when progress is meager, when earth has gone through the dark ages, there have been times when only one soul made the ascension. At other periods of great enlightenment and progress many souls have ascended each year. And so progress on the planet is directly proportionate to the evolution of the individual.
How can we convey to those of you who have not experienced the influx of the great current of the ascension spiral what this energy is? Shall we say that it is like the splitting of a thousand or ten thousand atoms, with man himself being in the center? Shall we say that it is like the explosion of worlds or sun centers? Or shall we say that it is like the unfolding of a lily or a rose?
Perhaps the poetry of the ascension ought to be written by yourself as you experience that great ritual, perhaps at the close of this life. For as you have been taught, the doors are open to all who will make the call and who will give the service and apply for each test. For line upon line, precept upon precept, the Victory is won.
You are ascending daily. You are ascending the spirals of your own being and your own consciousness. You are not as you were yesterday or last week, and if you are giving daily devotions to the Most High, you are light-years beyond your former self. Thus the days are shortened for the elect.7
Now I come with concentrated energies from my retreat, which is located in the etheric plane over the state of Arizona.8 I come with concentrated energies of love and purity. I come to adorn your forms with this light so that your vibrations might be increased in preparation for the hour of the reunion.
